Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom spent Thanksgiving apart even though they were in the same city, according to E! News.
"Lamar wanted to spend Thanksgiving with his father and so he didn't spend it with Khloé," an insider told website.
E! News has previously reported Joe Odom and the Kardashian clan aren't really close, "so instead, Lamar spent the day with his dad and good friends."
Over the summer, Joe Odom told reporters he blamed the Kardashians for his son's meltdown which included widespread rumors of his hardcore drug use and chronic infidelity. Despite it all, Odom and Kardashian have recently been rumored to be in couples counseling and trying to reconcile their marriage.
"Khloé has been very, very hurt by everything," a source told the website. "There is a lot about Lamar that she is just learning and if they have any chance of making this work, there is a lot they need to come to terms with."
E! News reports Odom returned to L.A. last week from his alma mater Rhode Island University where he has spent the last several weeks working out in hopes of launching his NBA return. While Odom, has yet to officially sign with an NBA team he recently met with L.A. Clippers coach Doc Rivers for more than two hours about rejoining the team.
"He is doing really, really well," another source told E! News. "He is in great shape, he is going to be playing with the Clippers. He should be starting later this month."
