The Las Vegas Raiders capped off their turbulent week with a much-needed victory over the Denver Broncos on the road. The Raiders will look to sustain the momentum of that huge win when they face the struggling Philadelphia Eagles at Allegiant Stadium. Read our preview to see who has the edge in this Eagles vs Raiders showdown.

Philadelphia Eagles installed as +3 underdogs

Philadelphia's losing woes show no sign of abating as the Eagles suffered a 28-22 defeat at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football. The Eagles have now lost four of their last five games to drop to 2-4. They are losing ground fast in the NFC East as they trail the red-hot Dallas Cowboys by three games in their division.

It won't get any easier for them in Week 7 as Philadelphia will face a Raiders team that is 2-1 at home this season. It is important for the Eagles that Jalen Hurts delivers a solid game in this contest. He struggled mightily against the Bucs, completing just 12 of 26 passes for 115 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

The Eagles will head into their showdown against Las Vegas without one of their Super Bowl heroes after tight end Zach Ertz's trade to the Arizona Cardinals last week. Ertz was an integral part of the Eagles franchise, recording 6,267 receiving yards and 38 touchdowns. Ertz ranks second in team history in receptions with 579 catches.

Las Vegas Raiders enter Week 7 as -3 favorites

The Las Vegas Raiders capped a painful week with a 34-24 victory over the Denver Broncos. The Raiders made sure Rich Bisaccia's first game as interim head coach ended with a win as they finally snapped their two-game losing streak.

The Raiders' preparations for the crucial Week 6 tilt were not ideal after head coach Jon Gruden's resignation brought upon by his email scandal. Derek Carr rallied the troops, though, completing 18 of 27 passes for 341 yards with two touchdowns. He recorded a 134.4 passer rating against the Broncos, his highest rating in that department for almost three years.

Henry Ruggs III benefited from Carr's outstanding play, catching three passes for 97 yards, including a 48-yard score. Having Ruggs in the lineup has rejuvenated Carr, who is averaging 9.4 air yards per attempt this season. When it comes to 20+ yard pass attempts, Carr leads the NFL in completions (18), yards gained (603), and big-time throws (17).

However, Carr will have his work cut out for him against a Philadelphia team that is fifth in the NFL in passing defense, allowing just 211.8 yards per game through the air this season.
