Lionel Messi Records 300th Club Assist

The Argentine was involved in the build-up in both PSG goals, directly passing to Mbappe for his second goal of the night.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball winner also claimed a career milestone with that pass to Kylian Mbappe, recording his 300th club assist in an illustrious career spent mostly at Barcelona, according to ESPN.

It was the 35-year-old's 16th league assist of the season and 20th overall. He only needs two more to break the Ligue 1 record for most assists in a season by a player.

Lionel Messi dazzled fans worldwide by scoring out-of-the-world screamers as a prolific goalscorer throughout his career, but his playmaking ability is also an elite aspect of his game.
