Besides Celtics star Jayson Tatum who picked up an ankle sprain during the first play of the all-or-nothing Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat, another vital rotation player for the Boston Celtics was suffering from discomfort.
Center Robert Williams III was reportedly suffering from a stomach virus, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of Stadium.

Robert Williams III was Throwing Up
Charania mentioned that Williams III was throwing up during the game. He was coming in and out of the game to vomit due to the stomach bug. The 6-foot-9 center is still sick as of today.
Williams III played for 14 minutes in Game 7, scoring 8 points on 4-of-5 shooting, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and a block.
The Celtics ultimately fell short of being the first team to come back from a 0-3 series deficit, as they dropped Game 7 on their own famous parquet home floor in a blowout, 103-84.
ClutchPoints posted a video of Williams III going to the locker room after being bumped hard by Heat center Bam Adebayo in a play.
Nicknamed "Time Lord," Williams III averaged 7.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
He shot 78.8% from the field and started in four of the Celtics' 20 games in the postseason.
The Celtics drafted the 25-year-old in the 2018 NBA Draft as the 27th overall pick.
