Manchester United will be without forward Anthony Martial as they try to deny treble-hunters Manchester City the FA Cup trophy in their showdown in the final at the Wembley Stadium in London on June 3, according to BBC.

The Football Association Challenge Cup, commonly known as the FA Cup, is the oldest national football competition in the world. The tournament has been held since the 1871-72 season.

Anthony Martial Out With Hamstring Injury

The France international sustained the injury in Manchester United's 2-1 victory against Fulham at Old Trafford, as per Sky Sports.

Martial has scored six goals and provided two assists in 21 appearances in the Premier League this season.

Manchester United signed the French forward in 2015 for an initial fee of $44.5 million. He was the recipient of the 2015 Golden Boy Award, an honor given to the best under-21 player in Europe.

He was loaned to La Liga club Sevilla in January 2022; and scored his only goal in 12 appearances for the club in the Europa League.

Martial returned to Manchester before the start of the 2022-23 season.

Manchester United will be looking to win their second trophy of the season, having won the EFL Cup last February.

Meanwhile, Manchester City is looking to add the FA Cup trophy to the Premier League title they recently won and the potential Champions League trophy where they will be facing off against Inter Milan in the continental tournament's final on June 10 in Istanbul.
