Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who made a sensational move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr before the end of 2022, will not be leaving the Middle Eastern country in the foreseeable future.

"I am happy here, I want to continue here, I will continue here," Real Madrid's all-time leading goalscorer said.
Rumors spread that the 38-year-old superstar wanted to return to the Premier League via Newcastle United, which is 80 percent owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.
Ronaldo signed one of the most lucrative contracts in sports history when he agreed to a two-and-a-half-year offer from Riyadh-based Al-Nassr worth $215 million per year, including commercial deals. It is the highest ever salary in the history of the sport.
However, Ronaldo failed to lead the Riyadh-based club to any silverware this season, despite scoring 14 goals in 16 matches.

Cristiano Ronaldo Thinks Saudi Pro League Will Be Great
In an interview with ESPN's Mark Ogden, the footballing great praised the potential of the Saudi Arabian league but said that they needed to improve on some matters.
"The league is very good. But I think we have many, many opportunities to still grow. The league is competitive. We have very good teams, very good Arab players, but they need to improve a little bit more the infrastructure," the former Manchester United player said.
Ronaldo pointed out that the referees and VAR system should be a little quicker but said that the Saudi league could be a top-five league in the world within the next five years if they continue their work.
