The Aces defeated the Sun 85-71.

Rapper Lil Wayne reportedly tried to reach out to Grizzlies star Ja Morant to help him with his current situation, wherein he is embroiled in the middle of a second gun-flashing incident on social media.

Broadcaster Skip Bayless revealed that the Grammy Award-winning rapper asked the sports personality to connect him to the Grizzlies star.

Bayless said that Wayne texted him and said, "Hey, can you connect me with Ja? Because I could help him. I've been there, I've done all this."

Wayne added his experience in prison on Rikers Island. He stated that he knows what happens, where it can go wrong, and what's right.

Bayless responded that he would try to reach the Grizzlies star, but unfortunately, Morant did not respond to the invitation.

"I got nothing back from Ja. Didn't expect anything back," he said.

The sports host mentioned that Wayne would fly to Memphis in a heartbeat if he thought he could save a career and a soul.

"He come from like a town with 3,000 people. Like, what? What y'all expect? Y'all gave him $200 million. I just said, a town with 3,000 people. You expect him to be responsible? Now we tripping," Wayne said, noting Morant's small-town upbringing.
