Saudi Arabia professional football clubs' piracy of European league players continues, and pundit Gary Neville said something has got to be done about this.

The Manchester United legend believes it is high time for officials to do something about such movements by the rich country because it is leaving "our game a mess."

"Any chance the Premier League can look into this Saudi trading like NOW!!!" he wrote on Instagram.

"Get a Regulator in asap that's agile enough to stop these things at source! If it doesn't look right it's probably not right! Independence is required asap. The Governance of our game is a mess!"

Neville's comments came in the wake of a series of transfers/probable transfers of Chelsea players to Saudi. Among them is N'Golo Kante, who is now with Al Ittihad. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, and Hakim Ziyech are all rumored to be transferring to the West Asian league.

Why are the Blues selling to Saudi?

On the surface, this appears to be a personal decision of players to transfer to Saudi. They are better compensated and have more bonuses outside of the pitch. But there is a bigger player at hand, according to rumors.

It is reported that the Blues are working their way to meet Financial Fair Play rules. The club has spent over half a billion dollars since Todd Boehly became the chairman. It is also believed that Clearlake Capital which owns 60 percent of Chelsea, is set to take over some Saudi top-flight clubs.

Whether UEFA or Premier League will do something about the exodus remains to be seen.
