The Miami Heat will look different next season as two key players from their historic 2023 NBA playoffs run are set to leave.

Reports revealed that Gabe Vincent would no longer be with the team comes next season after signing with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Nigerian national accepted a three-year $33 million offer from the Purple and Gold, a deal very rare for someone who went undrafted.

Vincent had his breakout season this year and stunned everyone in the playoffs. He averaged 12.7 points per game in the post-season to help the 8th-seed Heat reach the NBA Finals.

Max Strus will not return, too

Another Heat player expected to wear a different uniform for the 2023-2024 season is Max Strus.

Strus, who went undrafted like Vincent, will take a huge bag this season after taking the $64-million four-year offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The deal is not yet official, but many believe that the Heat's signing of Josh Richardson indicates that he will not return.

"After losing Gabe Vincent in free agency, the Heat have signed Josh Richardson and re-signed Kevin Love," Tim Bontemps of ESPN wrote.

"Richardson gives Miami much-needed depth after losing Vincent and likely Max Strus, while Love settled in nicely with the Heat after his buyout from Cleveland."

Heat president Pat Riley said early this month that he hopes to run it back with the team's core for the next season.

It will not happen anymore.
