Unrestricted free agent wing Lonnie Walker IV has signed a one-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets, per NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Details of the deal were not disclosed, but the 26-year-old signed a one-year, $6.5 million contract with the Lakers in the summer of 2022.
Walker IV appeared in 56 games for the Lakers in the regular season, starting in the first 32. After being sidelined in December due to knee tendinitis and missing 14 games, the former Spurs player's minutes and role were reduced following the rise of Austin Reaves and the team's new acquisitions at the trade deadline.
The 6-foot-4 wing averaged 11.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in a career-high shooting clip of 44.8% from the field and 85.8% from the free throw line for the 2022-23 NBA regular season.

Lonnie Walker's Crucial Against Warriors
Walker IV played his best game in a Lakers uniform in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Golden State Warriors. He scored incredible baskets in the crucial game to put the defending champs on the brink of elimination.
The 26-year-old scored 15 points, all in the fourth quarter while facing elite defense. The purple and gold franchise narrowly won the game, 104-101, to take a 3-1 series lead going to San Francisco.
In six games, Los Angeles ousted Golden State, but they were subsequently swept by eventual NBA champions Denver Nuggets in the next round.
