The Damian Lillard saga continues, but a development favorable to the clutch star has set in, making his desired move to Miami Heat more possible.

It is well-documented that Lillard wants to play for the Heat. His social media activities suggest such intention, and the Heat are returning the feeling.

However, Portland Trail Blazers do not seem to like what the Florida team offered and insist anyone can make an offer for their superstar.

Marc Spears of ESPN recently revealed that Lillard's wish might still come true with another team willing to facilitate his transfer to join Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

"I'm told that while Portland isn't happy with potential packages, there are over five teams interested in a potential multiteam trade that could get it done," he said during a discussion with other NBA Insiders on ESPN.

"It won't be today or tomorrow or perhaps the next day, but I believe it will ultimately end up with Lillard going to Miami. While Lillard does not have a no-trade clause, it doesn't make sense to trade for a future Hall of Famer who doesn't want to be there."

Other teams interested in getting Dame

While Dame and Heat have a mutual understanding, it is not unexpected that other teams want to join the fray.

Philadelphia 76ers reportedly want to try for Lillard, with James Harden asking for a trade.

Utah Jazz are also in the mix, with Bleacher Report's Andy Bailey saying Dame Dolla might find it neat to play with All-Star Lauri Markannen and big man Walker Kessler - an upgrade from his Blazers squad. Jazz also just need to throw first-round picks that the Blazers might find appealing.
