Eyes on the prize is this season's motto for Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

The two-time MVP believes the clock is ticking for him and other core members of the team, and that is why they feel like it is a win or bust for them this season.

"The biggest thing is, everybody comes to camp with the right mindset of just trying to win - we've got to talk it, live it out and understand the time frame of our careers," Curry told reporters during the break of the American Century Championship.

"Nobody's got time to waste in terms of any energy other than trying to win."

Curry is the oldest in the Warriors Big Three. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are both 33 years old. Together, they won four championships.

Their summer activities also indicate that what they got is a "Win Now" roster as they signed 38-year-old Chris Paul. They also got two veterans, Dario Saric and Cory Joseph.

A lineup agreed on by everyone

General Manager Mike Dunleavy, who came before the end of the 2023 season, said the roster was something everyone had input starting from the coach to the players.

"Can we add some connectivity, whether that's through ball handling, passing, veteran experience," Dunleavy said last month.

"I think we've heard, talked to the coaching staff, talked to our players, we have a good sense of kind of what we need to do."

The Big 3 remains, so it is not a new era for the Warriors. Just one that is trying to cling to one last hope.
