Tickets for Inter Miami's Leagues Cup match against Mexican club Cruz Azul on Friday are selling for as much as $110,000 at ticket reselling website Vivid Seats, according to CNN.
Despite the outrageous peak price of the fixture tickets, cheaper options are still available. The average ticket cost for the match is $487, which is still way higher than the typical MLS match.
Some fans are traveling more than 700 miles to see the match, to see Messi don the pink shirt for the first time on the pitch, as per a Vivid Seats spokesperson.

MLS tickets demand soar
Prices for the 36-year-old's MLS debut against Charlotte FC on August 20 are averaging $288, a 900-percent increase before Messi's move was announced last June.
Ticket prices for Inter Miami as a whole jumped 700 percent, despite the team being dead last in the Eastern Conference standings of the league.
The small capacity of DRV PNK Stadium could be a factor in the high prices of tickets. The club announced that they added 3,000 seats around the corners of the stadium to accommodate more fans, putting its capacity to 21,000 spectators.
It is still a far cry from the previous home stadiums of the Argentine, with FC Barcelona's Spotify Camp Nou, the largest stadium in Europe, having the capacity to hold nearly 100,000 people.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain's Parc de Princes can accommodate about 47,000 fans.
