The NBA GOAT debate will spring up anytime, and this time, it is interesting to hear the opinion of those who could also be within the range of the greatest of all time.

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is the latest to be pulled into the debate, and he has an interesting take.

For him, Michael Jordan is his NBA greatest of all time, but the thing is, it is only because he got to witness the Chicago Bulls legend play.

According to him, that part is why the NBA GOAT question will never be settled.

Instead, there should be multiple GOATs.

"I ascribe to the mindset that there are multiple GOATs," Curry said in an interview with Today

"And I hate that, it's not a cop-out answer, but it's so hard to compare eras. And getting into that conversation of 'oh if you put Michael in this era or if you put LeBron in that era,' it's kind of unfair. It's a great barbershop debate, and it's something that'll never stop until the end of time."

Curry as the GOAT?

Some also point to the lack of criteria to name a GOAT. Others use the number of individual wares, the longevity of their careers, the impact outside of the basketball court, and more.

Draymond Green once threw in Curry's name for the GOAT debate. His criteria? Curry's confidence.

"We all argue like, 'Oh, is Jordan the GOAT? Does LeBron dethrone him?'" Green told ESPN in April. "Whoever your guy is, who you think is the GOAT. Everyone debates it. There's no debate. [Steph] is the greatest."

Is Curry up there with the Jordans, Lebrons, and Kobes? What do you think?
