Over 50,000 Philadephia Eagles fans filled the Lincoln Financial Field as the team held their annual open practice session as part of their training camp last Sunday.

The team confirmed the figure in their social media accounts, calling their fans the best in the world.

The Birds, the reigning NFC champions and coming off an appearance in the Super Bowl last February, are looking to go over the hump this year and claim the Vince Lombardi trophy.

"It's always fun to get the fans in there and see them. To get the stadium back rocking and to be back in the stadium, it's something to look forward to. It will be a fun one," star quarterback Jalen Hurts said days leading up to the event.

Several supporters drove for hours to see the team execute their drills and plays while the practice session started at 7 PM ET.

Seats at the event were on a first-come, first-serve basis. Thus, fans flocked to the stadium quickly as it opened its doors to get the best view of their favorite players.

Tickets for the event cost $10, while the team also gave an option for $35 VIP tickets that will provide buyers with a special on-field experience before the start of the session.

Parking for the event was free of charge, while ticket proceeds will go to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
