Liverpool FC superstar Mohamed Salah has received a lucrative offer worth $200 million over the course of two years from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, which would also see the Premier League side receive $75 million as a transfer fee.

The Jeddah-based club recently acquired reigning Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema from Real Madrid and star midfielder N'Golo Kante from Chelsea, among many others.

Salah's agent Ramy Abbas Issa cleared the rumors surrounding the 31-year-old.

"If we considered leaving LFC [Liverpool Football Club] this year, we wouldn't have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC," the agent said on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

The Egyptian, widely considered one of the greatest players of this generation, became the highest-paid player in Liverpool history after signing a new three-year contract last summer that would pay him $445,000 per week.

Several players for the English club have accepted lucrative deals to move to the oil-rich kingdom.

Recent club captain Jordan Henderson and fellow midfielder Fabinho have agreed to deals with Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ittihad, respectively.

Former player Sadio Mane, who spent last season with Bayern Munich after six productive seasons with Liverpool, is bound for Riyadh-based club Al-Nassr to team up with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Club legend Steven Gerrard has accepted a deal to manage Dammam-based club Al-Ettifaq, where former teammate Henderson will be on his roster.
