Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco's legal problems continue to mount after he was first accused of having a relationship with a minor last month.

A second girl has officially filed a complaint at a Dominican Republic specialized prosecutor's office for boys, girls, and adolescents against Franco, alleging that she had a relationship with the 22-year-old as a minor, according to MLB insider Jeff Passan of ESPN.

A third girl also accused Franco of entering a relationship with her, but she has not filed an official complaint. However, authorities are still investigating her alleged relationship with the Rays shortstop.

It is illegal in the Dominican Republic for someone over 18 to engage in a sexual relationship with anybody younger than 18, and it can be charged criminally if proven.

Major League Baseball placed Franco on paid administrative leave last week on August 22, while they continue investigating the allegations.

He was initially placed on the Rays' restricted list after the accusations became public knowledge on August 13.

The Tampa Bay Rays have taken down all the images and likenesses of the Dominican around their playing venue, Tropicana Field.

"The banner of [Franco] on the rotunda was replaced by Yandy Diaz, the elevator wrap is now Fairbanks. Sign at Ferg's across street also down. Franco does still have a locker in clubhouse," according to Rays beat reporter Marc Topkins of the Tampa Bay Times
