Deion Sanders continues to gain raves after leading the Colorado Buffaloes in shocking the TCU Horned Frogs, 45-42, in Week 1.

It was an epic start for the Colorado Buffaloes, led by Travis Hunter, along with the efforts of multiple players. But the man who architected the win was no less than Sanders, gaining the attention of other coaches such as Jim Harbaugh of the Michigan Wolverines, USA Today reported.

This early, Harbaugh believes that Sanders could make a serious case for the Heisman Trophy when he spoke on the Stoney and Jansen show on WXYT-FM 97.1 "The Ticket."

"Maybe the 'Coach of the Year' award is chilling in Prime's crib," the 59-year-old said.

Aside from that, Harbaugh also lauded Coach Prime for his fiery speeches to his team. Sanders has been heavily criticized on how he addresses his players as well as his roster-building practices, the Detroit Free Press reported.

"I loved Prime's halftime interview, too, 'If we had hit him on two more passes, (the Heisman Trophy) would be chilling in his crib,'" Harbaugh, who is serving a three-game suspension, quipped via Mlive.com.

Sanders was not the only one hailed by Harbaugh in that epic upset win over TCU. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter did not escape the attention of the 2011 NFL Coach of the Year, praising the two players for their efforts in that upset win over the Horned Frogs.

Sanders completed 38 of 47 passes for 510 yards and four touchdowns, while Hunter caught 11 passes for 119 yards as a receiver and an interception.

"That was quite a performance," Harbaugh said of Shedeur Sanders. "And Travis Hunter - the 144 plays. I mean, it was tough to take the eyes off that game."

The Buffaloes take the field again on Saturday, September 9, this time against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
