The Los Angeles Dodgers have made major changes in their locker room, removing pitcher Julio Urias' locker following his arrest on September 3.

The 27-year-old's locker is now occupied by second baseman Kolten Wong, who signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers in the middle of August and was called up by the team for September.

The Dodgers have also covered several murals featuring the Mexican pitcher at the Dodgers Stadium.

Urias was arrested outside BMO Stadium earlier this month after a Lionel Messi Inter Miami game against the Los Angeles FC for suspicion of domestic violence.

The two-time All-MLB Second Team was released early the next day after posting a $50,000 bond. Urias will have a court date on September 27.

Dave Robers seemingly confirms Julio Urias' fate

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts gave clues on the future of the troubled pitcher.

Speaking with reporters on Monday, September 11, the 51-year-old tactician answered if the removal of Urias' locker indicated the end of his time with the franchise.

"I think so. I think that's kind of where we're at right now," Roberts said.

The Dodgers manager added that there's not much to comment on besides what he said during the first day, calling the incident "very unfortunate" and a "sad situation."

Urias will hit free agency at the end of the current season.
