LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is entering his 21st season in the NBA. Injuries have marred the past seasons, but based on the words of head coach Darvin Ham, the four-time NBA MVP is good to go.

"Without question," Ham stated when Lakers reporter Michael Corvo asked if James' burst was back. "He's an elder, wise man on the court, as well as off the court. He's very calculated in the way he chooses his spots... He's 100 percent healthy, looks fine, and he looks like third- or fourth-year LeBron."

LeBron James dealt with a torn tendon in his foot, which he sustained against the Dallas Mavericks in February, and missed 13 games for the purple and gold.

Then, in May, it was suggested that LeBron James may need offseason surgery to repair the tendon injury in his foot.

Did LeBron James undergo surgery?

James never went public if he did undergo offseason surgery and remained mum on it at Lakers media day, The Athletic reported.

"This summer has been a lot about rehabbing that and getting that back to where it needs to be. But my foot has been reacting very well on my offseason workouts. Looking forward to seeing how it reacts during training camp and all preseason going into the regular season. Excited to see where I am as it stands today," James said.

Regardless of how James handled his injury, the important thing is that he is back at 100% -- possibly even more.

Ham seems pretty fired up about the Lakers' chances this season and likes what he is seeing at training camp, the Los Angeles Times reported.

However, the Lakers coach is doing due diligence after adding that he will manage the game-to-game minutes of LeBron James to keep him healthy throughout the season.
