The Buffalo Bills appeared to be making a statement in the season's first four games, but the last three have been a different story.
Quarterback Josh Allen acknowledged that the team struggled in two of their last two games, which saw them lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New England Patriots.
He knows where the problem lies in their offensive struggle in recent outings - himself.
The offense's focal point is the quarterback, and Allen, one of the highest-paid players in the league, recognized that he needed to elevate his game to bring back the team to winning ways.

He thinks he is not enjoying the game as of late, and that's the reason for his struggle.
"If I could limit myself and my energy and my heart rate, I felt like I could maybe think a little bit more," he added. "But, who knows, maybe I need to think a little bit less and play football."
Allen is listed as among the top quarterbacks of the new season. However, the past two games showed a different Allen, as he attempted just six passes with four completions.
The offense starts everything for Gabe Davis
Receiver Gabe Davis echoed Allen's statement, saying the fun cannot come if the offense is not working.
"It's frustrating when you can't score. So the fun's not there when you're not doing what you work all week to do," receiver Gabe Davis said. "We just need to keep it simple and start moving the ball. If we just do what we know what we can do, there ain't no ceiling."
Allen vows to bring back "fun time" from now on.
The Bills will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next on Week 9, followed by a visit to the Cincinnati Bengals on Week 10.
