Reigning European champions Manchester City claimed a huge 3-1 win in their UEFA Champions League match against Swiss side BSC Young Boys on Wednesday, October 25, at the Wankdorf Stadium in Bern, Switzerland.
Defender Manuel Akanji opened the scoring for the English side just as the second half started, but they experienced a bit of a scare when Young Boys forward Meschak Elia equalized in the 52nd minute.
However, star forward Erling Haaland saved the day for the Premier League champions, striking a penalty in the 67th minute and sealing the game with another goal in the 86th minute for his 36th and 37th goal in the competition's history.
The Norwegian's brace enabled him to break Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe's record of the youngest player to score 37 goals in UEFA Champions League history, doing it in 23 years and 96 days old compared to the Frenchman's 23 years and 295 days.
Haaland also broke a scoring drought in the Champions League, as he failed to score in the previous five European games before Wednesday.

Pep Guardiola praises Haaland
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was delighted with his team's result and display.
"It is important to have the chances; the people want him to fail. I am sorry but this guy will score goals all his life, with the chances he is an incredible threat... he is going to score until the last day he plays football," the 52-year-old Spanish tactician said about his star forward.
