World boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is no stranger to hurling insulting words at his opponents. Hence, it is no surprise that he has fired a couple of shots at his upcoming opponent, Francis Ngannou, with their faceoff set for Saturday, October 28, at the Riyadh Arena in Saudi Arabia.

Both gladiators hosted public workouts, although Fury unsurprisingly gloated at where he is now. Not content, the "Gypsy King" even found something to try and humiliate the former UFC heavyweight champion in the exchange shared by Fightnews.com.

"He's the bull, I'm the matador! 99.999 percent of the time, the matador wins! Francis Ngannou is a big, fat sausage. That's why he won't take his top off. He's embarrassed of his body. If it was up to Francis, he'd fight with his t-shirt on. Facts!" Fury said.

For the average person, retaliation would be expected. However, Ngannou showed more patience and used the attack to his advantage. The 37-year-old admitted that he has yet to get the proper respect from the boxing community. Better yet, he even showed how lucky he was to be given the chance to talk about Fury.

"To be honest, I haven't gotten any respect from the boxing community, so I am not expecting anybody to respect me. I think I need to claim my own respect...anything is possible. It's possible. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here. In fact, see how we are talking about Tyson Fury? Who would've believed that a couple years ago?" Ngannou said.

Odds stacked against Ngannou

Given that their main event showdown is a boxing event, it is hardly surprising that Tyson Fury is the heavy odds-on-favorite to win.

The Gypsy King is a -1400 betting favorite over Ngannou, who is at +750, per CBS Sports.

Regardless, Fury admits he is not taking Ngannou lightly, per Boxing Scene.

"I'm just taking him deadly serious, and I'll concentrate when I'm in the ring, focused a hundred percent of the time, and do what I do best," the 35-year-old boxing champion said.
