Mahomes is married to his high school sweetheart, Brittany Lynne Mahomes (formerly Matthews).
Their romantic journey is said to have started during Patrick's tenth-grade year, with Brittany being in the eleventh grade at the time, per Brides.
The first documented photo of Patrick with Brittany on his Instagram dates back to May 2013, featuring a collage capturing moments from their prom date.
Brittany chose to play college soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler, while Patrick played college football at Texas Tech. Despite the distance of 440 miles between their respective schools, they successfully navigated the challenges and maintained their relationship.

Mahomes was born to Pat Mahomes, a former Major League Baseball pitcher, and Randi Martin, who is an event planner. The couple went through a divorce in 2006.
His father, who goes by Pat to avoid confusion, had a major league career from 1992 to 2003. He played for various teams, including the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
In addition, Pat also had a stint in Nippon Professional Baseball, pitching for the Yokohama BayStars during the 1997 and 1998 seasons.
