The Dallas Cowboys are on a three-game winning roll but will face a tough stretch that could make or break their NFL playoff bid.

Their next five weeks will be interesting as they face teams that are above .500. They are coming off a huge win over the Washington Commanders last Thursday, November 24, 45-10, another lopsided triumph for them, ESPN reported.

Next up for the Cowboys is the Seattle Seahawks, and it will be interesting if they can roll over them and win convincingly as they have in their past games. Backing up that claim is that they have won seven of their last eight wins by 20 points or more.

But a grueling schedule where Dallas will play consecutive games against good teams will put them to the ultimate test. One player in the spotlight is Dak Prescott, who prefers to focus on each game and bank on what they have accomplished so far.

"We've just got to continue what we've been doing these last few games and just build off that," he said.

Given the Cowboys' run, what could they do not to derail their playoff bid and hopefully end a 27-year title drought?

Dallas Cowboys need to win on the road.

As long as they continue to play the way they are at home, Dallas' games against the Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles should be in the books.

However, these are two teams that are no pushovers. Although they have won 13 straight games at the AT&T Stadium, they will be up against two unpredictable teams.

The Seahawks are hungry to get back on track after dropping their last two games. The Eagles, on the other hand, are another streaking team that will be a demanding customer for Prescott and the Cowboys.

Also worth noting is that the Eagles are atop the NFL power rankings at the No. 1 spot, and the Cowboys at the No. 5. In their first meeting, Philly won 28-23 on November 5. If there is a barometer to measure how far they can go, it will be the Cowboys vs. Eagles matchup on December 10.

An injury bug could bite the Dallas Cowboys.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy can breathe easily, knowing his players are available. Aside from Prescott, there are wide receivers CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, and cornerback DaRon Bland.

With all these names available and playing well, such has contributed to the Cowboys' success, per PFF.com. With these players available, the Cowboys should be OK. But what if one or more of them suddenly gets hurt - especially against more formidable opponents in their upcoming schedule?

The Cowboys' NFL playoff bid may fail if they lose all their games.

Oddsmakers pick the Cowboys to make the playoffs easily. But what they do from there will depend on how they perform.

They are given a -2000 chance of making the NFL playoffs, per Fox Sports. However, winning the NFC East and the Super Bowl does not look promising. They are given a +700 chance of winning the NFC East and +900 to bag the Super Bowl.

Before thinking big, it would be best for the Cowboys to take it one game at a time. As long as they win, they are well on their way to the playoffs.

The only way the Cowboys will potentially miss the playoffs is if they lose all their remaining games after tinkering around with the pick-a-winner table via the New York Times. Hence, the Cowboys will only miss the NFL Playoff bus if they miss all their remaining games. Although anything can happen, that seems highly unlikely to happen.
