The games have increasingly become unpredictable in the National Football League, and the Chiefs vs Bills Week 14 showdown is no exception.

Defending champions Kansas City Chiefs are not the same as last season after losing some games pundits thought they could have easily won.

The Patrick Mahomes-led squad is sitting at the top spot of the AFC West with an 8-4 record, but they do not have a solid hold of the number 1 ranking. The Broncos have a slim chance of taking over the AFC West if the Chiefs crumble in the remaining games.

The Bills are 6-6 and continue to hold out, hoping they will reach the playoffs again.

Game Date is on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 4:25 PM ET. It will be held at the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium and aired live via CBS.

Chiefs vs. Bills Week 14 Preview

The Chiefs won three of their last five meetings with the Bills. However, the point difference in those five games, plus the Chiefs' struggles, suggest this Week 14 clash can be anybody's game.

The offense is what's ailing the Chiefs in the past month. Two-time MVP Patrick Mahomes was not his dominant self during that period.

He only had six games with under 20 points in the last five seasons, but for the 2023 season, it happened five times already. Worse, he only has two games with three-plus touchdowns this year.

Mahomes is unfazed, though. He knows his team is of championship caliber and will respond when the going gets tough.

"I've been on a team that was 6-4 and ended up winning the Super Bowl," he said.

"We have confidence every week that we're going to find a way to win. Obviously, these last few weeks we've lost a couple, but we still have that mindset."

The Chiefs' remaining schedule is comparatively easier since the remaining teams they will face are below .500.

However, the injury list is still a cause for concern. They will miss two key starters in LT Donovan Smith and RB Isiah Pacheco, the team's leading rusher with 779 yards and 4.4 per carry. He also boasts 33 catches for 209 yards and seven total TDs.

For the Bills, they will rely again on Josh Allen, considered the second-best quarterback next to Mahomes. He needs to do his job while the defenders target the vulnerable Chiefs QB1.

Coach Joe Brady's run game has been quite effective in their last two. The system allows for Allen's designed runs. They averaged 165 yards per game, with James Cook, Latavius Murray, Ty Johnson, and Allen headlining the offense.

They have a chance if they can figure out Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, and other Chiefs defenders.

Chiefs vs. Bills Week 14 Pick

The Chiefs have been disappointing the past few games, but they are the defending champs for a reason. Mahomes likes playing in big games, and nothing is bigger than the one you play against your nemesis.

Chiefs will win the match, 29-16.
