LeBron hails Bronny for the game of life

The Lakers' superstar shared an emotional message to Bronny after the game, marveling at how his son was able to battle back from a life-threatening episode on Instagram.

"Can't even tell y'all how EMOTIONAL today was for me! I'm literally drained and all I can say is @Bronny you're simply INCREDIBLE!! Damn the wins and loses [sic] that will occur. You've already won the ultimate goal/championship and that's LIFE!!! Proud of you kid and today you've given me more life! Thank you and I love you," James wrote.

Bronny did not disappoint and wasted no time showing his talent. That included a chase-down block, scoring his first points as a college player, and a three-point shot, all in the second quarter, per SI.com.

Bronny James finished the game with 4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block coming off the bench. After the game, LeBron James's eldest son thanked everyone who supported him via ESPN.

"I just want to give appreciation to everyone that's helped me through this. Also, my coach, my teammates, all my other coaches. They've been with me since the start and I just want to say I'm thankful for them," Bronny James said.
