The era of the Big Three in the NBA became obsolete for a while, but it somehow returned this season.

Creating a superteam became the formula of many franchises over a decade ago. The Boston Celtics did it by putting together Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce.

The Miami Heat won two titles when Lebron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade.

The Golden State Warriors had their own and won two more titles when Kevin Durant joined Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in 2017.

The Big Three era died down after the Warriors' dominance. The Toronto Raptors had Kawhi Leonard and rising stars to win it in 2019. From then on, it was more about duos.

Fast forward to 2023, teams have decided to look for a third star for their title campaign. Many are effective, but others still need time to be judged accurately.

Who are the best Big Three right now in the NBA? Which of them have the highest possibility to win their team the title?

1. Boston Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum

This Big Three goes under the radar, but the Celtics' record will slap detractors in the face.

They have been the best team since the season's start in October and show no sign of stopping.

Celts' starting five are all inside the Top 50 of player rankings and have been voted inside the Top 10 in their respective positions in the upcoming All-Star Game.

As for Porzingis, Tatum, and Brown, these trio have a high career in field goal percentage.

As long as they are healthy, they can go a long way.

2. LA Clippers' Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden

They are no. 2 right now. If this trio was formed before the start of the season, they would have gotten the number one spot.

The Clippers played an almost perfect December after struggling in the first few games when James Harden joined them in early November.

They found their groove and went 22-4 since December.

Leonard, who just signed a three-year contract extension, is playing his best years again, averaging 24.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game on 52 percent shooting.

James Harden excels as the ball handler, while PG is contented being the Robin to Leonard's Batman.

Everybody's buying into their role, and that's what makes them successful.

3. Minnesota Timberwolves' Karl Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, and Anthony Edwards

The Wolves are a good team right now. Not just good but sensational.

The trio of Kat, Ant, and Rudy carries them to the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference standings.

Edwards takes care of the scoring most of the time, while KAT and Gobert take care of the defense, as the duo currently holds a 105.9 defensive rating.

They are probably the tallest Big 3 in the league right now.

Making them the team's cornerstone was deemed a gamble, but it is paying off now. Coach Chris Finch managed to map out plans to prevent these players' talent from overlapping.

Instead, they are complementing each other. KAT's outside game frees up Gobert. Edwards' slashing and perimeter can leave KAT open.

4. Phoenix Suns' Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker

This article is about the Big 3, and the Sun's triumvirate on offense deserves a spot. Their major problem is the bench.

Beal missing games is what pulls down this Big 3, but when he plays together with KD and Dbook, their offense is just hard to stop.

The team credited his return for their four-game winning streak earlier this month.

The Phoenix Suns can go as far as where this Big 3 will take them.
