The San Antonio Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama has lit up the world since making his NBA debut in October.

The French Phenom has continued to impress throughout his early NBA career, with last night as another example of his dominance.

Wembanyama put together another all-time performance last night, recording 27 points, 14 rebounds, 10 blocks, five assists, and two steals in 29 minutes to help lift the Spurs to a 122-99 win against the Toronto Raptors. After last night, Wembanyama joined Mark Eaton, David Robinson, and Ralph Sampson in posting ten blocks in a game as a rookie.

The Spurs rookie also put himself in elite company last night, becoming the fifth player in NBA history to record 25 points, 10 rebounds, 10 blocks, and five assists in a game; joining the likes of Kareem Abdul Jabar, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, and Ralph Sampson.

Webanyama also joins Spurs legend David Robinson as the second rookie in franchise history to record 10 blocks in a game. Robinson did so in the 1989/1990 season. Wemby has also eclipsed legendary Spurs big man Tim Duncan's career-high nine blocks.

To put Wemby's stat line in perspective, Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon has the most triple-doubles with blocks, doing it 11 times; one more than Dikembe Mutombo and more than Robinson, who had done it nine times throughout his career.

Wembanyama's impressive triple-double with blocks has yet to be done since Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela had a 13-point, 19 rebounds, and 10 block game on January 22. 2021.

The Spurs star rookie recorded his first triple-double of his NBA career earlier this season, dropping 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in January against the Detroit Pistons.

The 7 foot 4 French sensation continues to have an electric season, averaging 20.4 points and 10.1 rebounds while leading the league in blocks with 3.2 per game.

Through his transcendent year, Wembanyama's performances haven't led to many wins this season. The Spurs were able to snap a seven-game losing streak on the back of Wemby's impressive night, handing the Raptors their 10th loss out of 13 games.
