After a weekend of knocking off No.1 North Carolina and No.3 Clemson, guard Mark Sears has his No.4 Alabama Crimson Tide in the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament.

Now after defeating No.6 Clemson, Alabama is setting up a date with the UConn Huskies.

Mark Sears has shown up in major ways for the Crimson Tide, having been the talk of the NCAA Tournament with several big-time performances; and now he has a chance to make even more magic happen with a Final Four matchup against a powerhouse UConn team.

Mark Sears is coming off a great season for the Alabama Crimson Tide, one that saw him as the team's leading scorer.

During the regular season, Sears broke Alabama's single season scoring record held by Reginald King. He now holds the program's record for most points scored in a single season with 747, which was originally set back in the 1978-79 season by King. 

Mark Sears has shown that he can shoot from anywhere on the court and is relentless in getting to the rim.

Now, his elite scoring season has carried over into the NCAA Tournament, as Sears has had some big-time performances in the opening rounds. 

"I live for those moments," Mark Sears said on the CBS Broadcast. 

"This is what March Madness is about. When you're a kid, you want to be in these moments. It felt like my dream came true today."

Sears had 23 points in the win against Clemson, shooting an efficient 44% from the field.

His 30 points against the Charleston Cougars in the NCAA Tournament's opening round was a reminder of his capabilities.  

The Crimson Tide guard scored 18 points against the No.1 seed UNC, showing that he could keep up his stellar play against better teams on the big stage. 

Mark Sears and the Alabama Crimson Tide will have to dig deep against the UConn Huskies, hoping to have another big-time performance from him against the best team in the nation.
