Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green expressed frustration about the NBA's decision not to suspend Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray after he threw a heat pack on the court.

While Green didn't explicitly state that Murray should have been suspended, he suggested that the outcome might have been different if he had done so.

"I would have gotten suspended for the rest of the playoffs, for sure," the four-time NBA All-Star declared during a recent appearance in Shaquille O'Neal's "The Big Podcast."

The Canadian guard threw a heat pack onto the court in frustration during Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinals series against the Minnesota Timberwolves on May 6, as they were trailing heavily in the first half.

"I think it was absolutely insane that you get a $100,000 fine, no suspension, nothing for throwing a heat pack at an official. Man, I throw a word at an official and they throw me under the jail!," Green added.

Green continued his rant by pointing out the lack of consistency in NBA suspensions, emphasizing that you never really know what to expect after an incident.

The four-time NBA champion recalled his suspension from Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals after an altercation with then-Cavaliers star LeBron James.

The 2017 NBA Defensive Player of the Year argued that his actions were relatively harmless compared to Murray's, which could have posed a danger to players on the court.
