How to Make It in the NFL: Wharton's Journey

A product of Missouri S&T, Wharton signed with the Chiefs in 2020 as an undrafted free agent. He accumulated 58 tackles for loss and 35.5 sacks during his college tenure. This is the reason why he received Division II All-America honors in 2018.

Since the time he came to the NFL, Wharton has become one of the integral parts of the Chiefs' defensive line and substantially contributed to their back-to-back Super Bowl victories.

Chiefs Poised for Another Super Bowl Run

According to ON3, the 2024 Chiefs are currently holding a 10-1 record and have great hopes for winning their third consecutive Super Bowl. Led by Patrick Mahomes, who has already won three Super Bowls, they continue to set even higher standards for themselves.

In response to comparison with the all-time greats such as Tom Brady, Mahomes underscored the steadiness and greatness Brady showed throughout his career.

Wharton's rescue, seemingly instinctual, highlights his athleticism, but also his character off the field. There's no doubt that the Chiefs will have a bright Super Bowl appearance soon as this type of moment proves the team's values are much more than just football.
