Dee Devlin, the longtime partner of UFC superstar Conor McGregor, recently unleashed a fierce response against Nikita Ní Lamháin who recently won a civil case that accuses the fighter of sexual assault in Ireland.

In several Instagram posts, Devlin strongly defends her partner while labeling Ní Lamháin for fabricating her accusations while giving her side on the issue.

As TMZ reports, Ní Lamháin had filed a civil case stating that she was raped by McGregor in 2018. Last week, an Irish jury found in her favor, but McGregor has always said that the encounter was consensual.

In response to the verdict, McGregor said he would appeal and apologized publicly to Devlin for his actions, saying he takes responsibility for the pain caused to their family.

Devlin's Instagram Outburst Against Ní Lamháin

Devlin took to Instagram stories, claiming Ní Lamháin had been sending numerous unsolicited messages and photos to McGregor in 2018 when she was entirely aware of his committed relationship. She referred to Ní Lamháin as a person who manufactures accusations for personal gain.

"CCTV DOES NOT LIE," she wrote. "I look forward [to] the day the world will see the footage of you on that night and the carry-on of you."

Devlin also cited surveillance footage from the night in question, saying it contradicted Ní Lamháin's allegations. "This is the real evidence," Devlin wrote, saying the footage showed behavior inconsistent with Ní Lamháin's accusations. She alleged, "It looks like everyone is trying to get away from you."

Devlin's comments went beyond the case, stating that she was determined to teach her sons about the complexities of dealing with false allegations. She declared her unshakeable support for McGregor by posting a family photo.

How McGregor Handled the Post-Verdict

Post-verdict, Conor McGregor has come out in public to tender his apologies to Devlin. On social media, he reposted several of Devlin's support messages, seemingly in unison with the other.

In another direction, McGregor has indicated he will appeal the decision reached by the jury, and therefore, the drama is not yet over in court.

How Did the Public Receive McGregor's Stand in the Case

McGregor's legal case sparked much debate on relationships, personal accountability, and the many complicated issues of public accusations. Where the statements of McGregor and Devlin have rallied their base, Ní Lamháin's victory in civil court shows that allegations require remedy through legal systems.

Some fans think that the UFC fighter deserves to be jailed, while others side with Devlin's claims.

Regardless, this is bad news for McGregor after some companies dropped him. This means that his endorsements would likely decrease in the following weeks or days.
