
The Indiana Pacers are heading back to the Eastern Conference finals after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-105.
The victory means that the Pacers secured the needed four wins in order to reach the finals.
"The winning team writes the script," said Pacers Head Coach Rick Carlisle.
"I have to give our guys credit; they earned this," he added, according to ESPN.
Carlisle likewise praised the Cavaliers, who swept the Miami Heat in their first-round series.
"This was one of the best teams in the league. I'm sorry their season had to end like this," Carlisle said about the Cavs. "They had the perfect season, and we came along and were hot at the right time."

Indiana Pacers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers in Numbers
Tyrese Haliburton delivered for the Pacers, scoring 31 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. Pascal Siakam was able to score 21 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
As for the Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell contributed 35 points, nine rebounds, and one assist. Evan Mobley, on the other hand, had 24 points, 11 rebounds, and one assist.
The Pacers had a better field goal percentage of 50% as compared to the Cavaliers' 38.9%. The Eastern Conference finalists likewise did better with their three pointers and free throws at 42.9% and 77.3%, respectively.
Given their win, the Pacers will face either the New York Knicks or the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals. The Knicks lead the series 3-1, and the Game 5 for the two teams is scheduled on May 14.
