Vince McMahon, wrestling tycoon, is again in the news, this time not within the squared circle but a new business. The former WWE Chairman has sold a whopping $250 million of TKO Group Holdings shares in a private sale to Endeavor Group Holdings, the parent company of both WWE and UFC.
With this transition, McMahon hopes to start a new venture even when he's currently facing an ongoing court case.
McMahon Sells $250M Worth of TKO Stocks
McMahon disposed of 1.579 million shares of TKO's Class A common stock on June 3, 2025, at $158.32 a share under an SEC filing.
McMahon completed the sale the next day and disclosed it to Variety, making McMahon the majority shareholder with Endeavor holding 61.7% of the company's outstanding shares.
Before this sale, McMahon retained approximately 8 million shares: 9.8% economic interest and 4.1% voting interest. With this latest sale, he continues his trend of selling assets following the WWE-UFC merger, now reaching more than $2 billion in stock sales.

Endeavor Secures Its Hold on TKO
The sale dramatically decreases McMahon's control of TKO Group Holdings, a business he helped create following the 2023 merger of WWE and UFC under the umbrella of Endeavor.
According to Bleeding Cool, the merger was a watershed moment for WWE, unifying combat sports entertainment under a single corporate entity and formally leaving the control of the McMahon family out of WWE.
McMahon Launches 14TH & I: A New Media Investment Venture
As he walks away from WWE, McMahon isn't retiring. Rather, he's working quietly on a new venture. According to WrestleNomics, McMahon has created an investment company called 14TH & I, which will invest in sports, media, and entertainment opportunities. SEC documents indicate he filed three new companies in Connecticut on Sept. 20, 2024:
- 14TH & I Holdings LLC
- 14TH & I Investments LLC
- 14TH & I Management LLC
The name honors the storied 14th Street and I Street location in Washington, D.C., where Capitol Wrestling Corporation—his father's and perhaps his grandfather's business, more than a century ago, was based. Long-time McMahon partner and former WWE executive Brad Blum is named as President of the new company.
Even after this shift, McMahon's image is still in question. In January 2024, he stepped down from all WWE and TKO positions after a former WWE staffer, Janel Grant, sued him in a civil lawsuit for sexual assault and trafficking.
McMahon has rebutted all the allegations, but the legal proceeding is still ongoing. This casts a doubt on his future initiatives.
Another accusation involves McMahon running a hostile room for WWE writers. However, McMahon's camp only dismissed the claims.
