The Florida Panthers are champions again, and nothing—not even a broken Stanley Cup—could dampen their celebration.

Following their second-straight title with a Game 6 victory over the Edmonton Oilers, Panthers superstar Matthew Tkachuk spearheaded the party, hoisting Lord Stanley aloft and chugging champagne straight from the broken trophy.

Tkachuk Celebrates in Style

The 27-year-old winger Matthew Tkachuk brought that same intensity to post-game celebrations. Within the Amerant Bank Arena locker room, the Panthers turned it up with Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club"—ironically, the playoff song of the Oilers—with players dancing atop tables, smoking cigars, and soaking themselves in champagne, TMZ Sports reports.

Tkachuk stole the show by taking a swig of champagne right from the Stanley Cup, even with cracks visible along its rim. The damage didn't deter him. Indeed, the image of Tkachuk drinking from the dented hardware only enhanced the legend of his tough playoff image.

Stanley Cup Reveals Battle Scars

Photos from the post-game celebration showed that the legendary trophy had already accumulated a few dings. The Stanley Cup, which is accustomed to traveling the globe and going on crazy off-season escapades, looked visibly cracked on the rim, the very spot where Tkachuk had enjoyed his post-win chugs. It's not precisely certain how the Cup got banged up, but nobody in South Florida cared.

Victory Continues at Elbo Room

The party didn't stop at the arena. Tkachuk and a half-dozen teammates were seen at the Elbo Room in Fort Lauderdale by Wednesday morning, continuing the celebration with champagne showers.

The oceanfront bar was used as the unofficial victory headquarters as fans flocked to toast the newly minted back-to-back champions.

Panthers Join Elite NHL Company

In this victory, the Florida Panthers became the 10th NHL team in history to win consecutive Stanley Cup titles. Their path was defined by dominant play, relentless defense, and clutch performances — all orchestrated by Tkachuk, whose leadership and swagger were critical again.

Of course, the road to the championship wasn't easy. Tkachuk revealed that he was dealing with multiple injuries throughout the whole season. He did not play in the remainder of the regular season, but that did not stop him from helping the team defend its crown.
