
Chelsea Green has announced that she is quitting social media for the meantime following comments she's made about the late Hulk Hogan.
After commenting positively about Hogan, who has made infamous racist remarks in the past, Green found herself on the receiving end of a lot of backlash. Unfortunately, the WWE star has also been on the receiving end of disturbing death threats.
Chelsea Green Steps Away From Social Media

It can be recalled that in an interview on "CBS News 24/7," Green praised Hogan and his impact on professional wrestling shortly after the wrestling icon passed away on July 24 at the age of 71.
Many have called Green out over her comments given that Hogan had received severe backlash for his racist comments. Green then made an effort to clarify her stance on social media.

Despite this, it seems she continued to be on the receiving end of a lot of negativity, including death threats.

Hulk Hogan Dies at 71
Hulk Hogan's death has led to an enormous number of tributes, highlighting the legendary career he had as a professional wrestler. Many, including his fellow wrestlers, praised the late star for his contributions.
However, many have also brought back to light the racist comments he's made in the past. As a report pointed out, these comments have caused him to be exiled from the WWE.
Hogan was undoubtedly a wrestling icon who legacy has been marred by racist comments and other allegations, including those of abuse by his own family.
It has turned out to be a tricky situation to navigate, which another wrestler, Shane "The Hurricane" Helms, has eloquently put into words.
