Tennis legend Serena Williams is amazing the fans, this time with her heartwarming moments on the court with her two-year-old daughter, Adira.

Williams took to Instagram on Monday to share photos of herself teaching Adira the basics in their backyard, proving that passion for tennis clearly runs in the family.

Family Tennis Legacy Continues

In the charming snapshots, Adira was seen balancing a tennis ball with care on her racquet while emulating her mother's forehand. This is a cute and sweet moment captured as social media users exploded in joy.

Fans flooded the post with comments, praising the scene as so cute and speculating about Adira's future as a tennis star.

This is not the first time Williams has shared a special tennis moment with her kids: back in July, she posted a photo of herself balancing her elder daughter, Olympia, on her hip while assuming a trophy-like pose on court. Williams wryly observed that she never thought she'd be having to carry her doubles partner.

Williams retired from professional tennis after the 2022 US Open and welcomed Adira in August 2023 with husband Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit. She is also mom to Olympia, 8, with Ohanian.

Tennis has become a family affair for the Williams household, as her elder daughter started taking lessons in 2020, a socially distant and safe activity during the pandemic.

Daughters' Tennis Skills and Fun on the Court

Despite the early talent Olympia showed, she hasn't been quite as into tennis as perhaps her mom might have liked. Two years ago, Serena said that her elder daughter did not like playing that much, although she had natural skill, which means Serena and Ohanian have tried to find fun ways to get her into the sport.

Now, Serena may have found a new partner in little Adira, who shares her zeal. The youngest daughter's playfulness on the court could hint at a budding tennis career, or at least more adorable family moments. Already, fans online are calling Adira a future US Open champion in 2040.
