Andre Miller Trade Rumors? Brian Shaw Feud Has Nuggets Trying To Deal 'Professor' ? [VIDEO]

Andre Miller's days with the struggling Denver Nuggets are numbered, according to the Denver Post.

The newspaper reports the Nuggets are actively seeking to deal the veteran guard, who was recently excused from all team activities for four days after exchanging angry words with rookie coach Brian Shaw during last week's loss to Philadelphia as to why he was benched an entire game for the first time in his 15-year career.

In two stints, Miller, who is slated to return to the team on Monday, has spent all of seven season in Denver. In 2006, the team dealt him in a deal that landed the Nuggets All-star guard Allen Iverson. He returned to the organization in 2011 as part of a deal with the Trailblazers.

Following last week's meltdown, Miller was initially suspended, but then the suspension was rescinded, in part so Miller would be able to continue getting paid during his time off.

"The incident that took place with him the other day, everybody understands that can't happen," Shaw later reporters. "I haven't had any contact with Andre since the other night after the game; I really thought the whole situation was blown out of proportion. It was the heat of the moment and sometimes players say things to coaches or the other way around."

During his time with Denver, Miller has averaged 12.0 points and 6.7 assists in his career with the Nuggets.
