NFL Divisional Playoffs 2014 [VIDEO]: Richard Sherman: Drew Brees Hasn't Been Dominant Against Seahawks?

Ahead of their meeting in the NFC Divisional Playoffs this Saturday, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman praised New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees' play in the league against every team except for the Seahawks.

"He makes incredible adjustments during the game," Sherman wrote this week for TheMMQB.com, according to NFL.com. "He's never done that to us."

NFL.com reports that it was the second-worst defeat of the Brees-Sean Peyton era when the Seahawks defeated the Saints by 27 points in Week 13 with a 34-7 victory in Seattle.

Sherman wasn't sure what happened to Brees during that Week 13 matchup and while perhaps it was the 12th Man getting into Brees' head, Sherman had no answer.

"Well, I couldn't tell you. I couldn't tell you, truthfully," Sherman said, per The Advocate about Brees' struggles against them. "We don't run the most complex scheme. We don't do anything too exotic. I don't really have the answer to that."

The Saints have been way better at home than on the road thus far this season, and Brees registered his seven-worst passer ratings in road games this season. The Saints mustered just 188 yards of total offense in the game against Seattle, which was their lowest output since 2003 as Brees threw for just 147 yards--his worst mark since 2006.

Brees went 446-for-650 (68.6%) for 5,162 yards with 39 touchdowns and 12 interceptions this season for the Saints while Sherman tied his career-high with eight interceptions and had one touchdown.

Sherman noted that part of the Seahawks' home dominance has to do with their studying of opposing quarterbacks.

"We study concepts, we study plays, we study tendencies, quarterbacks, their movements," he said, according to NFL.com. "We're really a very disciplined, film-watching football team. I think when you work that hard, when you study that hard, when you're not out partying and you're spending that time watching film, and getting ready for your opponents, it benefits you."

The Saints were able to defeat the Eagles 26-24 on the road last week, but they'll face a much tougher challenge in the well-rested Seahawks, who haven't played since a 27-9 triumph over the St. Louis Rams on Dec. 29 in the regular-season finale.
