Deion Sanders To Go Prime Time, Compete In Pro Bowl? [VIDEO]

Deion Sanders tweeted Monday he plans to suit up for the Pro Bowl to be played later this month.

In recent days, Sanders who along with fellow Hall of Famer Jerry Rice will select rosters for this year's two teams, recently teased Rice with the taunt he plans to be in uniform for the Jan. 26 game in Honolulu.

"U may have to wear another number in the pro bowl for #teamDeion because your captain may play in the #Probowl. WHAT," Sanders tweeted to Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson, who wears the same No. 21 Sanders wore during his eight-time Pro Bowl career with the Falcons, 49ers and Cowboys.

Sanders also later tweeted "ladies and gentlemen I am officially announcing I will suit up in Hawaii. Please let @JerryRice know that a real captain leads by example."

The draft will be held Jan. 22. Offensive and defensive players with the most votes whose teams don't make it past the divisional playoff round will serve as active player captains.

Known as "Prime Time" during his playing days, Sanders, who also played major league baseball, now works a NFL Network analyst.
