DeMarcus Cousins Calls Chris Paul A Cheater, Insists 'I Don't Respect Him' [VIDEO]

The simmering feud between NBA stars Chris Paul and DeMarcus Cousins just intensified, with Cousins telling ESPN he doesn't "respect" Paul and considers him a "cheater."

"It's just some players I don't respect," Cousins told ESPN of Paul. "Just their playing style of basketball. I don't respect it. I feel like it's basically cheating and I don't respect a cheater. If that's your tactic to winning, I don't respect you."

The drama between the All-Star point guard and the emerging big man dates back to last year when Cousins accused Paul of flopping during a game in an attempt to draw a charging foul on him. And just this November, Cousins became irate when teammate Isaiah Thomas tried to shake Paul's hand following a Clippers' victory.

Paul is currently sidelined with a out separated right shoulder, but the Clippers expect him to be healthy by the time they host the Kings and Cousins at Staples Center on March 12.

For Cousins, now being mentored by Shaquille O'Neal, it's been a breakout season with him averaging 23 points and 12 rebounds and projected average of 33.9 points per 48 minutes ranking behind only league-leading scorer and Oklahoma City Thunder star forward Kevin Durant.
