Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray has been exceptional in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, stepping up in the bright lights of the high-stake games.

The 27-year-old guard nailed two go-ahead baskets in Game 2 and Game 5 of their first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers, with the latter ultimately leading to their opponents' elimination.

These shots have etched Murray's name in NBA history, as he became the first player since the start of the play-by-play era in 1997-98 to score two game-winning field goals within the final five seconds in multiple games during a playoff series.

Murray's first shot was a step-back midrange jumper over Lakers star Anthony Davis, sealing the win with no time left in Game 2 last April 22.

A week later, the Canadian hit another midrange jumper, this time from inside the free-throw line over Lakers guard Austin Reeves with 3.6 seconds left on the clock, which ultimately proved to be the difference-maker during Game 5 on Monday, April 29.

Murray's two clutch baskets shared many similarities. They were against the same opponent, both midrange jumpers off the dribble, and the ball went in the same basket in the same venue, the Ball Arena in Denver.

However, Murray humorously pointed out the difference between the two.

"Game 2 I went right. Game 5 I went left," the 27-year-old stated.
