Mercer upsetting the Duke Blue Devils sent waves through more then the college landscape. In fact it effected Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White just as bad as anyone who had Duke in the Final Four. White made a bet via Twitter with a fan that if Mercer beat Duke he would give the fan season tickets on the 50-yard-line.

Well, Mercer did in fact beat Duke and White was called out by the fan via personal message to pay up on the bet. White tweeted what he was giving the fan and honestly not a bad deal, but clearly not the deal that was agreed to.

White sounded like he was taking some backlash from not honoring his word, but the Duke upset was a sure thing right? Nope. The fan will get some awesome tickets to see his favorite for the price of “on the house” courtesy of Roddy White.
