WWE NXT spoilers and results: Emma and Paige vs. Charlotte and Sasha Banks; The Usos and The Ascension face off

WWE NXT spoilers and results for Thursday 4/24/14 featuring Emma and Divas Champion / NXT Women's Champion Paige vs. Charlotte and Sasha Banks as well as The Usos and The Ascension on opposite sides in six-man tag team action that is sure to be a preview of future episodes of Monday Night Raw later this year.

During their time in NXT, Emma and Paige have put on some classic matches and it's great to see them up in WWE but also still sticking around in NXT. Emma especially hasn't been given much to work with as Santino's sidekick on Raw, and I'd love to see her wrestling ability showcased a little more frequently than it has been thus far.

Paige, meanwhile, is a great story as the first double champion in NXT Women's / WWE Divas history, and she had been booked perfectly thus far on Raw and SmackDown. I also love her promo as the anti-Diva:

--Tyson Kidd def. Mason Ryan

After the match, Renee Young interviewed Tyson Kidd in the ring. Kidd said that NXT is the place to be and that this is a platform for ultimate opportunity in WWE. Tyson Kidd was always a true talent but has been sidelined by injuries, so hopefully he gets back to Monday Night Raw and SmackDown where he truly belongs.

The Ascension will be a huge tag team in WWE one day, and to see them against The Usos could be a real sign of things to come on future episodes of Monday Night Raw.
