Washington Redskins Rumors: C.J. Mosley Fall To Round 2 Dream Scenario For 'Skins Draft? [VIDEO]

Here at Sports World News we will count down each NFL teams’ 2014 draft needs and perfect fits. At the end of every team we will make a pick on who the team could take at their position.

2013 Review:The Redskins were incredibly disappointing and Robert Griffin III was one of the main issues. The soap opera in Washington came to an end when Mike Shanahan was fired and Jay Gruden was brought in to change the culture. The Redskins don’t have a first round pick because of Griffin, but luckily the draft is incredibly deep.

Needs:
Cornerback:
The Redskins might have brought back DeAngelo Hall, but they still need to find a player across from him. Developing a young talent who could eventually take over for Hall should be priority one for the Redskins.

Safety:  Brandon Meriweather is often hurt and hasn't been all that great when healthy. The Redskins need to overhaul the entire secondary and will find some value picks in the later rounds. Drafting players who are versatile and can play multiple secondary positions is also an option.

Middle Linebacker:  London Fletcher is gone and not only do the Redskins lose a productive player, but a leader. The Redskins could hope for a first round linebacker to fall to them in the early second, but that is a lot to hope for at this juncture.

Targets:C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama
Ryan Shazier, LB, Ohio State
Jimmie Ward, S, Northern Illinois
Lamarcus Joyner, CB/S, Florida State

Best First Round Fits: C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama
The Redskins could luck out and grab Mosley as he tumbles down the draft boards. Washington would find their replacement for Fletcher instantly and he can step in the starting line up on day one. The only negative going for Mosley is that he is a little brittle and his ability to stay healthy will define his NFL career. How long will Mosley be able to play at a high level in the NFL?
