Aaron Hernandez News: Cousin Tanya Singleton On House Arrest For Criminal Contempt Charges [VIDEO]

Aaron Hernandez's cousin will be confined to her Connecticut home and hooked up to a GPS tracking system stemming from criminal contempt charges she faces in connection with a 2012 drive-by double-slaying in downtown Boston.

According to the BostonGlobe.com Tanya Singleton will only be allowed to leave her home to receive treatment for the breast cancer she suffers from and other medical appointments.

Tats hold clues in Aaron Hernandez case?

Safiro Furtado and Daniel de Abreu both died in hail of bullets in a brazen attack where another man was also seriously injured in July 2012, and prosecutors now contend that even after she was granted immunity Singleton refused to cooperate or testify before a grand jury empaneled to hear evidence in the case.

Prosecutors now also allege the vehicle used in the shooting was later found stored away in a garage at Singleton's home.

Aaron Hernandez arraigned on double-murder charges

The 24-year-old Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to all charges, though he remains jailed on first-degree murder charges and confined to solitary confinement in a different killing. Police now hint they believe Hernandez may have killed 27-year-old Odin Lloyd based on his knowledge of other violent crimes the former New England Patriots star is suspected of having involved in.

The Globe adds Singleton's attorney have termed the prosecution of his client as ''aggressive and unnecessary.''
