The WWE will have a battle royal for the vacant Intercontinental Championship on Sunday night at Battleground live from the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Florida and two Superstars have been removed from the match.

It was revealed at Tuesday night's SmackDown tapings that Adam Rose and Damien Sandow have both been pulled from the over-the-top-rope battle royal and that there will now be 20 men in it. There is some speculation that Rose may take on Sandow one-on-one instead, but nothing has been officially announced.
The participants in the battle royal now include Cesaro, Kofi Kingston, The Great Khali, Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler, Big E, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Alberto Del Rio, Bo Dallas, Sheamus, Fandango, Sin Cara, Zack Ryder, The Miz, Diego, R-Truth, Xavier Woods, Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil.

There have been reports that Vince McMahon and head writer Kevin Dunn are down on Rose, but there is no word as to whether or not that factored into his removal. Cesaro was the early favorite to win the match, but the company has had him on a losing streak over the last couple of weeks so plans may have changed.
The title is vacant because Bad News Barrett suffered a legitimate shoulder injury at a SmackDown taping this month and had to forfeit the belt. Barrett will be on hand to award the winner the Intercontinental Championship at the pay-per-view.
Battleground is headlined by a Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Championship featuring John Cena putting his title on the line against Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Kane in the main event.
Two other titles are up for grabs as The Usos will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in a two-out-of-three falls match and AJ Lee will put her Divas Championship up for grabs against Paige.
There are two huge high-profile singles matches on the card as Bray Wyatt is slated to face Chris Jericho while "Mr. Money in the Bank" Seth Rollins will battle former Shield partner Dean Ambrose.
Another singles match will pit "The All American American" Jack Swagger against the Russian Rusev. Naomi will also take on Cameron on the pre-show.
WWE Battleground takes place this Sunday at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Florida, and here is what looks to be the final card:
