Floyd Mayweather Jr. Next Fight: Marcos Maidana 'Mayhem' Undercard Announced, Alfredo Angulo Returns [VIDEO]

The Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Marcos Maidana II undercard has been announced, and it will be headlined by Leo Santa Cruz, defending his WBC super bantamweight title against Manuel Roman. The undercard will also feature the return of Alfredo "El Perro" Angulo, fighting for the first time since losing to Canelo Alvarez in March.

Preceding Santa Cruz will be an IBF lightweight title fight between Miguel Vazquez and Mayweather Promotions fighter Mickey Bey. Angulo's return will come against James De La Rosa, and prior to the main card kicking off John Molina Jr. will step into the squared circle against Humberto Soto.

Santa Cruz is fighting on his second Mayweather undercard, and advised against boxing fans taking Roman lightly.

"This is my second time fighting on a Floyd Mayweather pay-per-view undercard and I know that there is no bigger stage than this," Santa Cruz said. "Manuel Roman is a tough customer. I know he's going to come prepared to try and take my title. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain, but I plan on leaving the ring with my hand raised."

The biggest name aside from Mayweather and Maidana on this card is Angulo, however, who must begin rebuilding his stock after consecutive losses to Erislandy Lara and Alvarez.

His opponent, De La Rosa, is 22-2-0 with 13 knockouts, with Angulo easily rating as his highest-profile opponent. De La Rosa is 2-2 in his last four bouts, but he most recently dispatched Fabian Reyes by TKO in Round 7 of an eight-round fight.
