Night of Champions 2014 Rumors: Several More Matches Rumored For Show, United States Championship Match Made Official [VIDEO]

The WWE has confirmed that a United States Championship match has been added to the card for Night of Champions 2014 live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Sept. 21 while two other title matches are highly speculated for the card.

WWE SmackDown Spoilers For Friday

On Tuesday night's edition of Main Event, Dolph Ziggler was a guest on MizTV and it was officially announced that he will defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz in a rematch from SummerSlam on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

This is the third match officially announced for the card as Brock Lesnar will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena in another SummerSlam rematch and Sheamus will put his United States Championship on the line against Cesaro.

The WWE also continued to build toward two other title matches during Tuesday night's SmackDown tapings from Lincoln, Neb. on Tuesday regarding the WWE Tag Team and Divas Championships.

Goldust and Stardust cut a promo on The Usos during SmackDown, which is set to air this Friday, likely continuing to build toward the Night of Champions event where the two sides have been rumored to engage in a match for the gold.

The WWE also had a Brie Bella vs. Paige match on SmackDown with AJ Lee and Nikki Bella arguing on commentary, and it appears as though the company is building toward a Paige vs. AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella Fatal 4 Way match at Night of Champions.

While those two bouts are likely, the rumored rematch between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt for the third consecutive pay-per-view is up in the air after it was revealed that the two would battle in a Steel Cage Match on Monday Night RAW next week, so it remains to be seen if they'll fight yet again at Night of Champions.

There have also been reports that Dean Ambrose will return from injury to team up with Roman Reigns and battle Seth Rollins and Kane while Mark Henry vs. Rusev has been hinted at along with a Bo Dallas vs. Jack Swagger contest.
